Marlee lives in the Tamborine area in Southeast Queensland and has served her communities as a celebrant for 19 years. She recently joined Picaluna as a funeral director and celebrant. She has journeyed with families through many milestones, helping them with naming ceremonies, weddings, memorials, and funerals.
Marlee’s skill is deep listening to understand your needs and guide you to achieve a funeral that is authentic, meaningful and honouring. She is calm, compassionate and caring and understands that each person is unique and diverse and so should be their farewell.
When not out and about in her community conducting funerals and ceremonies, Marlee can often be found in nature around the Tamborine Mountain area from which she draws inspiration and peace or gardening and creating nature-inspired artworks.
She is also always looking for wonderful, unique venues for ceremonies. She loves that Picaluna supports people holding funerals and farewells in diverse places and spaces that feel right for them.
