As a long-term resident of the Gold Coast, Ann’s former career as a nurse spanned much of her adult life, from generalist to palliative care specialist, including supporting people affected by blood cancers.
In 2020 Ann became an authorised marriage celebrant, and cradle to the grave ceremonialist, leading to her current role.
From her home in Nerang, Ann’s large family is mostly spread around the northern Gold Coast. She loves working with children and including all ages in ceremonies.
Ann’s passion for and commitment to the best possible end of life care, is shared by Picaluna, which led her to becoming a funeral director, celebrant, and end of life doula alongside Picaluna.
Ann is comfortable sitting with all emotions and has no presumptions. She always listens and learns, offering her suggestions and creativity if and as you wish.
She believes that honouring yourself and your person’s uniqueness is the key to starting the healing process and helping minimise the complexity of ongoing grief.
